Tamanna, the Mumbai girl is a beautiful Tamil film actress. She made her debut in Tamil films with 'Kedi' starring opposite Ravi Krishna, the son of well-known producer A M Ratnam. Though the film failed at the box office, her performance as sister to a gangster and jealous lover who tries to grab the hero from Ileana was well appreciated by the audiences. She then landed a series of roles in Tamil films.
Tamanna bagged a role in 'Kalloori' a movie which is all about college life. She appeared in 'Vyapari' opposite SJ Suryah, and in 'Netru Indru Naalai' she again teamed up with Ravi Krishna rendering brilliant performances. Tamanna's other big-time Tamil movies include 'Padikathavan' starring opposite Dhanush, 'Ayan' opposite Surya Sivakumar, 'Ananda Tandavam' a teenage lovestory, 'Paiyya' starring Karthi Sivakumar and 'Kandein Kadhalai', the remake of Hindi hit film 'Jab We Met'.
